CCGC has received a $5,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation, the independent foundation created by the late actor and philanthropist, Paul Newman. This grant has been given in support of our patient care evaluations, and has already made a difference in the work that is done here at the Clinic by allowing us to acquire new therapeutic toys, materials, and tools, and as a result adopt new methods of interacting with our clients that enhance the care that they receive. With the help of this grant, we are able to make the Clinic better than ever and improve the supports that we provide to children in our community.
These funds are available through the generosity of the Newman’s Own Foundation
Since opening its doors in 1959, the Community Child Guidance Clinic has provided services to thousands of children across central Connecticut who struggle with behavioral, emotional, and mental health issues. CCGC is proud to be able to offer families a variety of different services to help address their concerns including outpatient therapy, an intensive outpatient program, a clinical day school, and in-home services. No matter what a family struggles with, CCGC is here to help and support children in our community.
The Newman’s Own Foundation turns all net profits and royalties from the sale of Newman’s Own products into charitable donations. To date, Paul Newman and Newman’s Own Foundation have given over $495 million to thousands of charities around the world.
All of us at CCGC would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Foundation, and express our gratitude for their support!
