CCGC recently started a new tradition of dressing comfortably and casually on Fridays, while also raising money for local charities in central CT. The way it works is simple: any employee who wants to participate can pay $5 any day of the week, and then on that Friday they can wear casual clothes, including some of the sneakers and jeans that you see pictured here. At the end of the month all of the money is collected together and given to the charity chosen for that month. For October, we’re giving to the House of Bread in Hartford, an organization that provides healthy, delicious food to the hungry and homeless in Hartford, in addition to providing or partnering with others to provide basic household necessities, literacy, transitional living facilities, legal services, and much more. To learn more about this organization, go to www.hobread.org; there’s lots of ways we can all help a great organization like this!
In addition to showing off our new Friday look for the whole clinic, this picture also shows the entirety (or nearly the entirety) of our Clinical Day School Staff! Many of them are wearing CCGC colors or our new branded tee shirts, turning this Friday into something of a ” spirit” day too! Lookin’ sharp everybody!
