The Victims of Crime Assistance Program is a federally-funded project through the Office of Victim Services of the Connecticut Judicial Branch. There is no charge to families for any of the services provided by this program.
The VOCA Program is designed to provide support to children and families who have been victimized by violent crimes such as physical and sexual assault, domestic violence, homicides, robberies, and motor vehicle crimes. In addition to psychotherapy treatment, the VOCA program additionally assists victims with applying for reimbursement for expenses incurred as a result of the crime, victim impact statements, and court accompaniment.
