Fall Fest 2024

Fall Fest has been canceled for this year due to predicted bad weather.

We are so sorry that we won't be able to have fun with you all at Fall Fest this year. We hope to see you at our next community event, in the meantime, stay dry and have a great rest of your fall season!

A PROUD PART OF MANCHESTER'S BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS

This year, Fall Fest is partially funded by the Manchester Bicentennial Grant in partnership with the Manchester Youth Service Bureau.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Fall Fest is back for 2023! Join us and be a part of the magic that happens when a community comes together for a day of fun! We'll have entertainment and activities for kids, as well as resource information for parents. Food will be available for a minimal cost, with free giveaways as well (while supplies last). Come and have fun with us this September - we can't wait to see you there!

Prospective SPONSORS, VENDORS, and RESOURCE TABLES: Please scroll down for links to sign up or donate!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join us on September 23rd at our 1075 Tolland Turnpike location in Manchester and have some free fun with the family while learning more about everything our community has to offer!

Families can look forward to:

  • Face painting and balloon twisting

  • Petting zoo with a variety of farm animals

  • Raptor Meet and Greet with Blue Moon Raptors

  • Carnival-style games with prizes

  • Photos with CC Photography

  • Seasonal crafts of all kinds

  • Giant inflatable obstacle course and slide

  • Games, dancing, and fun with our children's DJ, Barefoot Adventures

  • Yard games with the Town of Manchester's Rec on the Run

  • All ages/abilities Yoga from 2:00-2:30 with Yoga in Our City (presented by Connecticare)

Meanwhile, we are also inviting local nonprofits and businesses to come and be a part of the event, so parents and caregivers can learn about a variety of services in the area and find new resources for their families while the kids have fun and enjoy the day!

We will be offering some food at the event for a minimal cost, and we'll have some free giveaways as well, while supplies last.

RSVP on Facebook and stay up to date with everything that's going on: we're still adding new attractions all the time!

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

  • Fall Fest primarily takes place in the parking lot of the Community Child Guidance Clinic building at 1075 Tolland Turnpike, Manchester. Some activities and attractions will also be set up in the adjoining Bernie Dailey Memorial Ball Field.
  • As there will only be limited handicap-accessible parking at our building, families attending Fall Fest should expect to park in the BJs plaza across the street instead, and we will have a Manchester Police Officer present to assist with crossing the street. Please exercise caution in the parking lot and crosswalk!
  • Families can expect to find multiple food and drink options on-site, and we hope to share the specific menu items, dietary information, and any associated costs with you soon.
  • RSVP for Fall Fest on Facebook, and follow along in the discussion for updates and more details as the day gets closer. Search @CCGCinc or click here to connect with us and stay up to date on this and everything else that is going on at CCGC.

RESOURCE TABLES AT FALL FEST

If you are representing a local nonprofit or business that serves children and families OR a local small business that sells farm goods or homemade crafts, there's a good chance that you would be a perfect fit to attend Fall Fest as an exhibitor for our resource fair! Fall Fest is attended by over 400 people each year on average, while still being small enough that you can look forward to less competition than at bigger fairs. There is a small, optional, suggested donation for tables, but otherwise, this opportunity is open to most businesses (though acceptance is subject to CCGC committee approval).

Click the button below to learn more, and then fill out a quick application to let us if you're interested! We'll reach out soon with more information and to answer any questions you might have.

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!

We would like to say a huge thank you to this year's Fall Fest Sponsors and Donors
