Community Conversation, “Let’s Talk Healing Strategies: Public Health Crisis, COVID-19, and Racism. A Conversation with Black and Brown Males Ages 12-22.” This will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in partnership with various faith-based, academic, and community organizations, the Office of the Governor, and the Departments of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), and Children and Families (DCF).

The purpose of this event is to engage in dialogue on equity, develop recommendations for local and larger systems improvements, and to build and bridge community alliances. The agenda for the evening includes brief remarks by the Commissioners from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Department of Children and Families. The event will include conversation starters facilitating a dialogue with Black and Brown Males Ages 12-22 regarding the Public Health Crisis, COVID-19, and Racism.
